Vacate Notice

If you are a current Burns Archer Tenant (BAR) tenant in a property and are wanting to vacate, you must give 28 days notice and this must be in writing.

Please complete the Vacating Advice Form and return via email, fax, post or deliver to our office. Our office will then be in contact with you in relation to the vacating procedure, final inspection guide and also a bond claim form.

Tenants are advised that in accordance with Section 428 of The Residential Tenancies Act 1997 that "A tenant must not refuse to pay rent on the ground that the tenant intends to regard as rent paid by the tenant the bond or any part of the bond paid in respect of the rented premises".

We are an independently owned and operated business. We are bound by the National Privacy Principals. We may be collecting personal information about you by various methods throughout the tenancy to enable us to manage and maintain the premises as per the Residential Tenancies Act. We may disclose personal information about you to the owner of the property and to contractors (approved and authorised by Burns Archer Realty) in the course of our day to day duties. You have the right to access personal information that we hold about you by contacting our privacy officer.
